You only need 2 ingredients for this Keto Pasta Recipe! No low carb flour alternatives or special keto ingredients are needed. It’s a quick and easy substitute for regular pasta.

This quick and easy past really is just two ingredients. And you don’t need any special keto ingredients to make it. In fact, you may likely already have the ingredients necessary.

Taste and Texture

I want to make clear that this does not taste the same as traditional pasta made with wheat flour. But it does taste something that resembles noodles–just a bit more cheesy.

The noodles hold up fairly well once they cool. You won’t be able to twirl them around your fork as they aren’t quite as flexible, but they do have a chewy bounciness to them like regular pasta.

This post is a little bit lengthy, but it’s because I want to make sure I share enough details so that you know what to expect, and so it turns out well.

Keto Pasta Ingredients

My Favorite Lasagna Recipe

Today, let’s talk about a recipe that is very near and dear to my heart, my Nonna’s lasagna. This recipe has three main components, a slow-cooked ragu, a creamy bechamel sauce, and fresh homemade pasta sheets. Something extraordinary happens in the oven when these ingredddients are layered with fresh mozzarella, Parmigiano, and hard-boiled eggs. You’ll just have to make it yourself to experience this magic.

My Favorite Lasagna

Ingredients

  • Butter for greasing
  • 2 ½ cups Lady Caterina’s Ragù see below
  • 1 pound fresh mozzarella torn into 1-inch pieces
  • 3 hard-cooked eggs finely chopped
  • 2 cups bechamel see below
  • 2 cups finely grated Parmigiano-Reggiano
  • Sfoglia all’Uovo cut into 4 sheets measuring the size of your baking dish, or about a pound of store-bought pasta sheets

Method

  • Preheat the oven to ºF. Grease a 9- x inch baking dish with butter.
