Gio Ponti möbler

Gio Ponti var enstaka italiensk designer och arkitekt, född kalenderår i Milano, Italien. Ponti utbildade sig vid Milanos Polytekniska högskola år samt öppnade sju år senare designstudio tillsammans med Emilio Lancia samt Mino Fiocchi.

Ponti var enstaka kreativ mångsysslare och arbetade både såsom arkitekt samt möbeldesigner. han formgav allt från stolar, bord samt lampor mot keramik samt textilier. Ponti formgav tillsammans med visionen för att skapa objekt som utöver sin funktionalitet även skulle berätta någonting. Han la grunden till en italiensk stil såsom var mer avskalad samt internationell.

År skapade Ponti tidskriften Domus Magazine. Där förblev han energisk nästan fram till sin död samt tidningen drivs fortfarande framgångsrikt. I slutet på talet formgav Ponti den omåttligt populära stolen Superleggera till Cassina. Stolen kom för att representera modern italiensk design och existerar än idag en tecken för en komplett träff mellan designer och masstillverkning. Gio Ponti anses existera en från de maximalt inflytelserika arkitekterna under talet som lyckades revolutionera tillsammans sin design.
